Fuel is building Fuel O2, a top-tier Order Book platform to showcase Fuel VM's power and provide a great trading experience. The Risk Analyst will help design and execute risk management strategies to enable efficient liquidity provision while minimizing downside risks to Fuel O2 and its liquidity providers.
Who you are:
* A financial risk management professional with 5+ years of experience managing risk in high volatility products.
* Familiar with multiple layers of financial risk management and capable of designing comprehensive frameworks.
* A strong quantitative risk modeller, able to identify known and unknown risks related to trading.
* Comfortable working with technology and algorithms;
ideally experienced in risk management coding in one or more languages with real-time data.
* Capable of thinking both in normal and adversarial scenarios to identify vulnerabilities.
* Nice to Have:
Knowledge of crypto trading, smart contracts, and ability to analyze blockchain data independently.
What you'll do:
* Lead the design of financial risk management practices for crypto products and markets.
* Model risks and develop plans to manage and mitigate them.
* Consult with leadership on key business risks associated with Fuel O2 markets.
* Collaborate with engineering to develop risk monitoring and mitigation tools.
* Act as an adversarial trader to test and improve risk controls.
