Human Resources Business Partner

The
Human Resources Business Partner
serves as the Human Resources liaison within their assigned area, bringing HR expertise to managers and providing support to employees on a range of HR matters, including personnel administration, HR development, and labor relations
.
As Human Resources Business Partner you will:
Cascade HR policies clearly and effectively to managers and employees within your assigned area, ensuring alignment and understanding.
Be a driving force behind the introduction of new HR tools and systems to meet the needs of managers and employees.
Coordinate recruitment activities as needed (expectation to hire around 50 new employees this year), working with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide advice and guidance to managers on various HR topics including employment law, recruitment, training, compensation, diversity, and organizational structure.
Guide managers through annual HR processes such as performance reviews, career development discussions, and salary reviews.
Support organizational change and transformation projects.
Oversee daily HR operations and respond promptly and accurately to employee inquiries, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
Implement disciplinary actions and manage employee exits in coordination with the Legal Department, ensuring compliance and fairness.
Generate and deliver HR reports to support decision-making and enhance transparency for managers.
Assist with various HR initiatives related to compensation, labor relations, reporting, and HR development.
Oversee and manage collective labor relations, including negotiation and collaboration with employee representative bodies (e.g., works councils).
Collaborate closely, with the support of the HR assistant, with Payroll and Administration teams to ensure accurate payroll processing and effective management of administrative HR tasks.
Manage, with the support of the HR assistant, administrative payroll procedures, including data input, system processing, and ensuring timely transfers.
Administer, with the support of the HR assistant, employee contracts and provide ongoing support for employees regarding HR-related measures and concerns.
What We're Looking For
Master's degree preferably in Human Resources
At least 10 years' experience in a similar role in Portugal, ideally within Digital or Tech industries.
Solid understanding of employment and labor law.
Sufficient autonomy to manage the Portugal structure alone (in close connection with the head of the Portugal office) on site, while reporting to the HR department based in France.
Strong foundation in HR principles and best practices.
Able to understand and connect with others through active listening.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Flexible and able to adjust in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commitment to handling sensitive information with care.
