We are looking for a PL/SQLDeveloper: As a Developer, you will provide essential support for our critical payment applications.
This includes developing existing applications, providing support, creating or updating ITX maps, managing message queues, responding to user inquiries, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Your ability to troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively will be crucial to your success.
Exposure to a diverse range of technologies, such as ITX, PL/SQL, and Shell Scripting.
Responsibilities: • Develop and support existing ITX maps and PL/SQL stored procedures.
• Develop and implement new features to enhance payment processing capabilities.
• Work on Swift payment message transformation and dispatching to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure minimal disruption to service.
• Maintain and improve documentation related to application support and development processes.
What we are looking for: • Strong expertise in PL/SQL for database interactions and data manipulation, as well as proficiency in Linux ksh scripting for automation and system management.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and version control principles and tools, such as Jenkins and Maven, to automate and streamline the development process.
• An eagerness to learn ITX mapping from IBM Sterling Transformation Extender, expanding your skill set to include advanced transformation techniques.
• Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Good communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
You should be able to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Bonus Points: • Familiarity with ITX mapping from IBM Sterling Transformation Extender.
• Familiarity with MQ Series.
• Knowledge of French, either as a speaker or at a conversational level, will be beneficial for collaborating with diverse teams and clients.
• Experience in the financial services industry, specifically with Swift payments and ISO 20022 messages format, will provide valuable insights into the unique challenges and requirements of payment systems.
