We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to handle Tier 2/3 support for the ESG platform, support observability POCs (Grafana stack on OpenShift), and collaborate with the ITSM monitoring team. What you would do: Provide Tier 2/3 support for the ESG application, including troubleshooting and deployments across environments (CER, QLY, PRD); Automate tasks and deployments using GitLab, Ansible, and participate in weekly release reviews; Support the observability POC (Grafana Mimir, Loki, Alloy) on OpenShift using Helm and GitLab CI; Contribute to the migration of Grafana Central to OpenShift and suggest improvements in IaC (Terraform, Ansible); Collaborate with the ITSM team using tools like OBM, SiteScope, Prometheus, and Python scripts for automation; Coordinate with developers, QA, and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure platform stability. What you need to bring: Solid experience in application or platform support (Tier 2/3); Experience with Git (GitLab) and Ansible for deployment and automation; Familiarity with IBM Cloud or hybrid cloud environments; Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes; Understanding of Grafana stack (Mimir, Loki, Alloy) and monitoring tools; Proficiency in Linux environments; Good scripting ability with Python; Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) and Helm; Basic knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure configuration; Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken). Nice to Have: Exposure to ITIL processes; Experience with monitoring platforms (OBM, OO, SiteScope); Basic understanding of networking concepts; Knowledge of Windows, AIX, and multi-platform environments; Familiarity with InfluxDB and Apache Airflow.
