Overview We are looking for a IT Manager / Network & Edge Platform Owner. Responsibilities Define and maintain reference architectures for SD-WAN, routing, firewalls, VPN, ZTNA, load balancing, and DNS services Own and continuously improve the global network edge, including internet breakouts, remote access solutions, and site connectivity Establish and govern network policies, including segmentation, IP addressing strategies, and firewall standards Drive network observability through telemetry, monitoring, and synthetic testing to improve reliability and reduce operational risk Manage the lifecycle of authoritative and internal DNS services, including governance, processes, and operational standards Ensure platform resilience through high-availability designs, failover testing, and disaster recovery planning Collaborate closely with IT Security to maintain network security baselines and compliance requirements Coordinate with external partners, integrators, and carriers to ensure adherence to platform standards and service quality expectations Monitor vendor performance through KPIs, service reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives Lead major network changes, site migrations, and incident management activities in a global environment Requirements 5+ years of experience managing and operating enterprise network environments Strong hands-on experience with SD-WAN, routing, firewalls, VPN technologies, ZTNA, and load balancing solutions Experience administering and governing internal and authoritative DNS platforms Experience with network automation, infrastructure-as-code practices, Git, and CI/CD pipelines Strong understanding of network segmentation, IP addressing plans, and change management processes Experience with network monitoring, observability platforms, telemetry, and synthetic testing Proven ability to manage vendors, service providers, and system integrators Experience leading multi-site deployments, migrations, and complex infrastructure projects Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills in critical production environments Fluent in English Location: Ovar, Portugal Work Model: Hybrid (2 days/week in the office) Project Type: International Experience Level: Senior (5+ years) Salary Package & Benefits: 1400-1900 + SA + Flex Benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr
