Responsibilities
* Develop and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to extract insights from large, diverse datasets.
* Collaborate with business leaders to understand their data and analytics needs, translating them into effective data science solutions.
* Mentor and guide junior data scientists, supporting their technical and career development.
* Stay updated with the latest trends in data science, machine learning, and AI, recommending innovative approaches.
* Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, presenting findings effectively.
* Ensure data integrity, model accuracy, and quality of deliverables.
* Contribute to the development of the company's data science infrastructure and tools.
Minimum Requirements
* Experience with Data Visualization tools: Qlik Sense, Qlik View, PowerBI, Tableau.
* Strong understanding of design principles and translating requirements into technical specs.
* At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a data scientist or similar role, preferably in a multinational environment.
* Experience leading and mentoring data science teams.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and working with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
* Strong self-management and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of data management (ETL) and Snowflake is preferred.
* Experience with agile methodologies.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Fluency in English is mandatory.
* European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Residency.
* Availability to work in the office once a week.
