What will your responsabilities be?
Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using CAPL (Vector environment).
Adapt and extend existing test cases provided by third parties (for example CARIAD) to meet project-specific requirements.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for ECU and gateway testing.
Perform automated testing for UDS diagnostics and network communication (CAN/CAN-FD).
Work with Vector tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer for test execution and analysis.
Ensure high timing accuracy (millisecond-level precision) in automated test execution.
Support testing activities across ECU integration and system validation phases.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, testing, integration).
Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results.
What requirements are we looking for?
Bachelor'sorMaster'sdegreeinElectrical/ElectronicEngineering,ComputerScience/SoftwareEngineering(withafocusonEmbeddedSystems),Mechatronics,ControlandAutomationEngineering,AutomotiveEngineeringoracloselyrelatedtechnicaldiscipline.
2–4+yearsofexperienceinautomotivesoftwaretesting.
StrongknowledgeoftestingmethodologiesforembeddedsystemsandSiLtesting.
Hands-onexperiencewithHiLsystems(e.G.,dSPACE,Vector)forBMSandsteeringapplications.
Pythonknowledgefortestautomationandscripting.
ExperiencewiththeCprogramminglanguage,particularlyinacontextrelevanttostaticanalysistoolslikeAstreeorequivalent.
FamiliaritywithCANandCAN-FDcommunicationprotocols.
FamiliaritywithVectortools(CANoe,CANape)andtestautomationtools(ECU-TEST).
ProficiencyinMicrosoftOfficetools,especiallyExcel,fortestdatamanagementandanalysis.
Understandingofbatterydiagnostics,stateestimation,andthermalmanagement(forBMS).
Familiaritywithsteeringassistance,redundancy,andfail-safemechanisms.
KnowledgeofISO*****andASPICE-complianttestprocesses.
Experiencewithtestmanagementtools(Polarion,Jenkins,Jira).
