About the Position: To support and respond to our needs, we are now looking for an IT Engineer to join a dynamic team in the Porto area, under a hybrid arrangement. What are you going to do ? Contribute to the design of a strategy for systematic update/upgrade deployment on middleware applications such as IHS, WAS, IIS, JBOSS, KAFKA, ... Ensure the scalability of the update/upgrade process to be able to act on exponential growth of the infrastructure; Ensure the continuity and reliability of the middleware applications for all information systems of client's customers, secure their systems by Patching or Upgrade the application in the appropriate supported version, always guaranteeing the service in compliance with the standards; Contribute to business projects and assist users in the use of available solutions;What we are looking for? More than 9 years of experience in IT services; Strong experience on application support, including upgrade/patching process; Experience with scripting- bash, powershell and Python and commands on Linux is mandatory; Experience using automation tools such as Ansible tower; Good knowledge of DEVOPS tools such as GIT, JENKINS, Bitbucket, XLD/XLR, Confluence, JIRA, to manage CI/CD environments; Experience using monitoring tools as Zabbix, Splunk, Grafana; Knowledge if ITSM; Experience with Problem and Incident Management; Good level of English. Experience with database administration (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo DB, Singlestore), database upgrade/patching process and database transversal tools (OEM, OUD, MEM, SCCM, ...) is a plus.
