This company was launched by industry veterans with a history of successful exits and is currently developing sovereign, autonomous countermeasures to neutralize advanced aerial threats.
This is a rare opportunity to be one of the first members of a high-performing team and directly influence the software and perception architecture of life-saving technology.
What You Will DoAs a core member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for the "brain" of autonomous flying systems:
Architect & Implement:Shape the software and perception frameworks for autonomous countermeasures.
Edge Development:Design high-performant algorithms for resource-constrained, Linux-based hardware.
Sensor Integration:Select and test cameras and sensors critical for autonomous navigation and flight.
Simulation:Build digital twins and high-fidelity simulations for complex flight scenarios.
End-to-End Ownership:From drafting design documents and establishing CI/CD pipelines to hands-on hardware testing and mentoring junior peers.
Candidate ProfileWe are looking for a self-starter who thrives in high-ambiguity environments and is ready to take significant ownership of complex robotics products.
Core RequirementsEducation:Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical Stack:Proficiency inC++(production) andPython(prototyping).
Middleware:Hands-on experience withROS2or similar middleware.
Expertise:Deep understanding of state estimation, sensor fusion, perception, and autonomy.
Hardware Exposure:Ability to prototype using off-the-shelf boards and 3D-printed components.
Communication:Fluent English is mandatory.
Bonus Points forExperience withRustorPX4flight controllers.
Direct experience with drones, rockets, or other flying vehicles.
Specialized knowledge in VIO/SLAM or Reinforcement Learning.
