Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities
Faurecia Moldados in São João da Madeira is looking for an IT Specialist with availability to work in 2nd shift (14h30-23h).
The Main Missions Of The Role Include
1. Support IT issues and users with shop floor/Manufacturing Execution Systems (Level 1 Troubleshooting)
2. Engage L2 or L3 support when needed
3. Server disk space management and OS patching
4. Hardware troubleshooting and replacement
5. Support users for MS Office or other PC subjects as a result of escalation of a Stratos Help Desk system ticket
6. Work with other members of the IT organization to provide solutions to user issues
7. Keep IT management up to date with local and system changes
8. Create and escalate support tickets using the Stratos Help Desk system.
9. Desktop/Laptop setup and distribution
10. Basic Network Troubleshooting and Support
11. Execute failover/failback of shop floor systems on a periodic basis.
12. Ensure back up of systems is properly working
13. Perform other duties as assigned by the plant leadership and the IT Region Leader
14. Communicate on a daily basis with plant management. Be part of the plant management daily meetings
15. Collect and follow up the requirements requested by the Site;
16. Implement the new projects for local applications and infrastructures;
17. Implement improvements in the existing Information Systems, to ensure the right evolution;
18. Ensure the ownership of the Systems by the user. If necessary, co-ordinate: training to user, creation and application of the procedures;
19. Assure 1st & 2nd level functional & technical support on site critical applications (ERP, Supplier Kanban, TCO), and all kind of IT incidents reported by the users. If Help Desk exists for the site, the Help Desk will deliver the first level of support;
20. Apply the company standards: hardware, software, Security policy, software licenses control, inventory, etc.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Minimum Education Level
1. Associates degree in Information Technology, applicable certifications, or 5 years of experience in the function.
Experience
1. Prior knowledge of troubleshooting and understanding of when to escalate issues.
Skills & Competencies
1. Strong attention to detail
2. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population and demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
3. Excellent customer service skills.
4. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
5. Good understanding of/interest in shop floor systems (sequencing, traceability etc.)
6. Requires familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems; Win7, Win 10 Server 2008, 2012, 2016.
7. Requires familiarity with Microsoft Office 2016 and Office365.
8. Requires familiarity with software and hardware of PCs and network servers.
9. Cisco VOIP and Networking experience and/or training preferred.
