CSRD / ESRS; GRI Standards; ENGLISH ProfileWe are seeking a Senior Technician with a versatile profile and the ability to intervene in the ESG area, focused on the agri-food sector. The ideal candidate should balance technical and regulatory knowledge, operational capacity to work closely with companies, and a strong understanding of the specificities of the agri-food value chain. ResponsibilitiesWith a particular focus on the following competencies: Technical Skills in ESG and SustainabilityStrong knowledge of ESG principles and their practical application in a business context; Knowledge of key frameworks and standards:CSRD / ESRS GRI Standards EU TaxonomyAbility to conduct materiality assessments and define ESG indicators; Experience in collecting, processing, and reporting ESG data (qualitative and quantitative); Knowledge of ESG risk management and integration into business management models. Specific Knowledge of the Agri-food SectorUnderstanding of the agri-food value chain (primary production, processing, logistics, distribution). Knowledge in:Agricultural sustainability (efficient use of resources, soil, water, biodiversity); Food safety and traceability; Animal welfare (when applicable); Circular economy and by-product valorisation. Awareness of critical sector topicsCarbon and water footprint; Use of plant protection products and fertilizers; Food waste; Climate resilience. Analytical and Digital SkillsAnalysis and interpretation of environmental and social data: ability to interpret complex information to optimise processes, support management, and define sustainable strategies; Advanced use of Excel, Power BI (or similar tools), and ESG reporting platforms; Environmental impact assessment:Knowledge of LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) and carbon emissions calculation (Scope 1, 2, and 3) is considered an asset;Results communication: ability to translate technical data into practical and decision-oriented information. Management, Communication and Business Engagement SkillsAbility to work directly with companies, particularly SMEs; Organisational diagnosis; Monitoring ESG action plans; Supporting the implementation of best practices; Strong written and verbal communication skills, including:Presentations to management bodies; Internal awareness-raising and capacity-building; Ability to mediate between regulatory requirements and companies' operational realities.QualificationsHigher education degree in areas such as: Environmental Engineering / Agronomic Engineering / Food Engineering; Sustainability; Management with specialization in ESG. Professional experience (or relevant projects) in: ESG consulting; Projects within the agri-food sector. Functional command of technical English (essential for standards and reporting).
