Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced FP&A Operations professional to join our team in Arouca, Portugal.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about driving business results and improving operational efficiency.
1. Main Responsibilities:
* Partner with the local organization to drive compliance, transparency, and profitability in our production plant.
* Serve as the link between the local organization and the Group Finance Function.
* Prepare budgets and forecasts for management.
* Generate regular reports (cost and performance indicators) and provide recommendations for action.
* Support investment projects by reviewing, approving, and recalculating profitability calculations.
* Develop and coach finance employees at the site.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
* A degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering, with a focus on controlling.
* At least 5 years of experience in finance, with a minimum of 3 years in plant controlling.
* Experience working in a larger production plant, ideally within an international company.
* Deep understanding of financial modeling techniques and relevant KPIs.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, along with good SAP knowledge (modules: FI/CO/MM).
* A solution-oriented and analytical personality with a hands-on mentality, extroverted with the ability to communicate, connect, and present to different organizational levels.
* Fluent in English and Portuguese.
