Leveraging a unique pool of talented professionals based in Matosinhos, our operating model ensures scalability, consistency, and quality in service delivery by integrating seamlessly into PwC Luxembourg's operations and addressing talent attraction challenges sustainably.The role - IT Security Specialist ResponsibilitiesEnforce security policies, standards, and procedures across IT systems and servicesConduct regular security checks and configuration assessmentsTrack vulnerabilities and follow up with technical teams to ensure timely remediationProvide security guidance during system changes, deployments, and upgradesCoordinate and support audits and compliance activitiesSupport IT projects end‐to‐end, from early security assessment to CAB validation for production releaseMaintain accurate records of security controls, exceptions, and risk acceptance decisionsCoordinate and oversee penetration testing activitiesConduct security assessments, identify risks and define remediation actions on products and any software developedEvaluate the security of solution architecture to validate the use of the solution within our IT landscapeYour profileBSc or MSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related fieldAt least three years of professional experience in related fieldIn-depth technical knowledge in Cybersecurity, including understanding of application security, security assessments, and security controlsExperience in vulnerability managementFamiliarity with industry best practices, standards, and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP and the MITRE ATT&CK FrameworkFluent in both written and spoken English and Portuguese.We believe that success lies in people and in your willingness to push boundaries.
