The BU was created as part of the Amcor & Berry merger, bringing businesses under one leadership to drive synergies and more efficient management. The primary role of the Pricing Manager is to organize and lead pricing for the Industrial segment – covering products from films for solar panels to unique patented foil for capacitors, from proprietary SiOx-coated films to various film and foil applications sold globally. The Pricing Manager works closely with Sales to drive the commercial strategy and deliver BU sales and PBIT targets.Job Dimensions & Scope This role requires close collaboration with:All Business Unit Commercial teams and AC&I production sitesThe BU Sales forceThe Business Group Sales & Commercial teamYou will be a key partner across functions, supporting both strategic initiatives and day‐to‐day pricing operations.Principal AccountabilitiesMarket & Segment Expertise: Become the subject‐matter expert on pricing, market structures, and competitive dynamics through close cooperation with Sales and Commercial teams.Pricing Management: Process pricing requests—including costing preparation—and ensure alignment with the line manager.Tender Leadership: Manage and coordinate the tender process for your assigned segment.Commercial Support: Assist the Sales team with value propositions, business case development, and customer discussions.Project Involvement: Participate in projects requiring price, cost, or margin inputs (e.g., business scenarios, spec changes, design‐to‐value).Strategy Development: Gather and consolidate feedback from the Sales team to help refine pricing strategy.Cost Recovery: Ensure pricing processes are consistent and support full recovery of RM increases and other input costs (energy, transport, indirect costs).Data Quality Assurance: Support efforts to maintain accuracy, transparency, and consistency of cost data from sites and supporting functions.Pricing Tools & Models: Help build pricing models and maintain price lists for allocated markets, customers, and products.RM & Price Updates: Execute RM tracker updates, price adjustments, and product pricing revisions.What We OfferA key role within the BU Commercial Excellence team, working closely with cross‐functional stakeholders.Direct impact on customer proposals and commercial decisions—helping to drive top‐line growth.Opportunities for long‐term career development, skills enhancement, and personal growth within a global organization.A dynamic, international environment where you can make a meaningful contribution.Major Challenges & ComplexitiesOperating in a fast‐paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines.Managing complexity in pricing data, RM fluctuations, and customer requirements.Qualifications & Requirements Formal Qualifications & ExperienceExperience in Sales, Commercial, Controlling, or related functions in manufacturing / packaging areaExposure to developing or redesigning pricing or costing modelStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong written and spoken English skillsSkills & CompetenciesStrong interpersonal skills; able to build relationships across levels and functionsA collaborative team player with a positive, proactive mindsetFast learner with intellectual curiosity and a willingness to understand products and processesStrong analytical skills paired with clear and effective communicationAbility to work efficiently in a high‐energy, deadline‐driven environmentWhy Join Us?
