We are seeking a skilled and organized Construction Scheduler to join our team in Sines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing project schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and coordinating with various stakeholders to guarantee project milestones are met.
Main Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain detailed construction schedules using advanced project management software.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for scheduling purposes.
* Monitor progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet project deadlines.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential delays.
* Prepare regular reports and presentations for stakeholders on project status.
* Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the planning process.
* Assist in the procurement process by estimating timelines for resource acquisition.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Construction Scheduler or similar role in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Fluency in English is preferred.
