Winners, the leading supermarket chain in Mauritius is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join its existing team.
Key responsibilities:
1. Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope
2. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
3. Apply knowledge of Agile SDLC methodologies to streamline project execution and enhance collaboration.
4. Ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the loyalty platform, including system monitoring and performance management.
5. Identify and address technical issues in collaboration with the development and support teams.
6. Act as the escalation point for technical issues and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
7. Oversee the operation of IT systems, including APIs, integrations, and databases.
8. Oversee the management of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
9. Manage domain names, DNS, and SSL certificates to ensure secure and reliable operations.
10. Coordinate and delegate operational tasks to IT and support teams effectively.\
11. Provide technical guidance and support to team members to enhance productivity and resolve challenges.
Job requirements:
12. Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
13. Minimum 5 years in IT operations, software development, or related areas.
14. Proficiency in database systems (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and API integrations.
15. Familiarity with data analytics tools like Power BI and ETL processes.
16. Knowledge of ITIL practices is a plus.
17. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
19. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
20. Available to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, as well as odd hours
