Role Mission

Support the Commercial Department in identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and assisting with the preparation of commercial proposals and market intelligence activities.

The Sales Intern will work closely with the Commercial Director and the commercial team to gain hands-on experience in technical sales, business development, and market analysis within the maritime and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research and Business Development Support

* Assist the Commercial Director in conduct of market research through available tools to identify potential clients and emerging opportunities in the maritime sector.
* Assist in maintaining and updating prospect and client databases.
* Support benchmarking and analysis of industry trends, competitors, and regulatory developments.

2. Commercial Operations Support

* Prepare commercial proposals, presentations, and supporting materials.
* Support CRM updates and sales pipeline tracking.
* Help organize and maintain documentation related to proposals, contracts, and client interactions.

3. Client Engagement

* Assist in preparing materials for meetings, technical-commercial presentations, and proposals.
* Support participation in trade fairs, industry events, and conferences when applicable.

Candidate Profile

1. Education

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:

* Naval Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering
* Business, Management, or related fields

2. Skills

* Strong analytical and research skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Familiarity with CRM tools or AI productivity tools is a plus
* Fluency in English (spoken and written)

3. Behavioral Competencies

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Curiosity and willingness to learn about technical products and markets
* Organized and detail-oriented
* Proactive and collaborative mindset
