About The Role
The Data Visualization Engineer is responsible for extracting, preparing, and cleansing data, as well as designing and creating visually engaging and informative data visualizations.
As a part of your job, you will:
Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and objectives for visualization projects;
Connect and integrate visualization tools with various data sources, ensuring seamless and efficient data access;
Extract, prepare, and cleanse data from various sources, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accuracy for visualization purposes;
Design and develop visually engaging and insightful data visualizations using appropriate tools and techniques.
What are we looking for?
BSc and/or MSc in Computer Science or similar;
Previous experience with Data Visualization, Business Intelligence, and ETL processes;
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar;
Proficiency in data prep tools or components such as Tableau Prep, Power Query, Alteryx, or similar;
Solid understanding of data extraction, preparation, and cleansing techniques to ensure data quality and integrity;
Experience with database management systems, SQL, and various data formats, such as CSV, JSON, and XML;
Ability to connect and integrate visualization tools with various data sources, such as APIs, databases, or data lakes.
