What You Will Be Doing

The position of Client Services Associate is responsible for serving as the first level of support to existing clients and managing and coordinating the completion of all language projects.

1. Respond to client requests for new project initiatives through our centralized technology.
2. Collaborate with various members of the production team to assess the scope of work and produce cost and timeline estimates for translation projects and requests.
3. Initiate all project-related work by providing detailed budgets, schedules, and instructions to the project team, and by anticipating potential pitfalls or roadblocks.
4. Ensure that any issues are addressed and resolved with the client before being submitted to the production team.
5. Set up project specifics to ensure successful completion by the production team.
6. Learn about clients' industries, business needs, and company culture; educate the project team; and provide a high level of service.
7. Monitor and communicate project progress, ensure adherence to deadlines and budgets, and produce high-quality deliverables.
8. Serve as the main point of contact and liaison between external clients and internal production staff.
9. Set and fulfill client expectations.
10. Comply with all ISO regulations, processes, and procedures.
11. Investigate and resolve problematic projects.
12. Understand and follow individual project instructions and communicate effectively with the production team.
13. Address client complaints when applicable.
14. Discuss issues with clients and production staff, and creatively problem-solve to alleviate issues.
15. Complete other tasks as assigned by a manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience in customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; proactive in resolving issues and committed to high service standards.
- Effective time management skills; ability to handle tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work well with diverse backgrounds, independently, and as part of a team.
- Experience coordinating projects and resource allocation is a plus.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

- Knowledge of a second language.
- Fluency in a foreign language.
- Experience in project coordination and resource management is a plus.
