At Sovos, we are dedicated to making a positive and lasting difference, operating on the modern edge of digital technology to solve complex business challenges and enrich our communities.Work You'll Do Working as part of the Client Money Team, the Client Money Accountant is responsible for managing Client Money, allocating payments, reconciling, and dealing with internal queries. The accountant liaises and communicates with Managed Services Teams to ensure accurate, timely payments are completed.Accurately record all transactions made on behalf of clientsEnsure all payments are accurate and processed within strict deadlinesReconcile multicurrency bank accounts to internal recordsEnsure process documentation is kept up to dateIdentify, prioritize, and resolve issues; coordinate with appropriate internal departments to provide timely response and solutionsEfficiently collaborate with the Managed Services Teams and other departments to ensure all deadlines are metMaintain goals and key measures to ensure progress and alignment with desired business outcomes for clientsEnsure compliance with applicable taxing authorities and client-specified procedures by adhering to internal policies and proceduresAct with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholdersPerform other duties and special projects as assignedWhat We Need From You1+ years of office work experience preferred, and previous experience in accounting or finance is a strong plusAble to demonstrate excellent customer service skillsStakeholder management experienceProficiency in Excel (mandatory) and other MS Office productsExcellent communication and customer service skills in dealing with internal and external customersHigh attention to detailDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured environmentAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information and records with a high degree of discretion, diligence, and good judgmentWhat Does Sovos Offer YouAn opportunity to work with a global teamBi‐Weekly Meeting Free DaysMentoring ProgramsGlobally recognised Training and Development programsComprehensive benefitsEqual Opportunity Statement Sovos is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing an environment that celebrates diversity and where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and employees.
