What do you need to be SMART IT SUPPORT ENGINEER ?
What you'll do
* Be the bridge between the Customer Support and Software Development teams.
* Investigate abnormal behaviors by analyzing logs and metrics.
* Extract complex reports directly from the PostgreSQL database.
* Diagnose and resolve performance and latency issues.
* Execute bulk operations.
* Interact with external vendors (e.g., payment gateways) to resolve issues.
* Collaborate with the development team to escalate or address deeper technical problems.
* Document procedures and create internal tools to facilitate technical support (e.g., Retool).
* Monitor and maintain AWS infrastructure, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
* Identify and proactively resolve issues before they impact production.
* Implement automations for monitoring, scalability, and recovery.
* Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline.
* Optimize cloud resource usage to reduce operational costs.
What we're looking for
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
* Solid experience in senior-level technical support or IT operations.
* Strong ability to analyze logs and diagnose issues in distributed systems.
* Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL (queries, reports, operations).
* Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Sentry.
* Familiarity with Retool for creating and using internal interfaces.
* Ability to communicate effectively with technical vendors and internal teams.
* Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS).
