We have an excellent opportunity to join the Query Management & Treasury Team within Thales Business Support Services in Portugal. This position offers an individual with the opportunity to develop and enhance their existing skills, while learning new skills within a shared services environment.
TBSS acts as a shared service centre for a number of Thales countries for various key tasks associated to finance, reconciliation, procurement and supply chain. This position will focus on supplier invoice receipting, confirming to suppliers that invoices are checked and correct, resolving any invoice queries as required.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
The purchase to pay process includes several administrative tasks:
1. Record and update the suppliers master data base
2. Record and update bank details in the supplier master data
3. Purchase order creation
4. Goods receipt follow up
5. Receiving and processing of invoices
6. 3 way match which means checking the right goods, the right amount and the right quality
7. Invoice approval follow up
8. T&E Report processing and reports audit
9. Manage all approved payment activities
10. Reconcile supplier statements, identify any transactional issue or disagreement as early as possible
11. Urgent payments processing
12. Invoice payment release
13. Manual payment
Skills & Experience
1. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (essential)
2. Organizational and communication skills
3. Able to work in a multicultural work environment
4. Relevant Degree such as Finance & Accounting, Economics, Business Finance, Management, Business Management & Administration or equivalent.
5. Fluent in several languages - Portuguese and / or English plus at least one of the following; Dutch, Polish, Romanian and Spanish.
