This is your opportunity to join at the ground level and help shape GBS from the inside out!Your new Role: As anO2C - Collections Specialist, you will responsible for managing Collections activities while maintaining positive customer relationships, ensuring timely payments and reducing overdue accounts.Your responsibilities will include: Managing customer relationships, including resolving issues and performing root‐cause analysis for non‐payment. Proactively tracking and collecting trade receivables to ensure timely cash inflow. Driving the collections workflow to ensure timely follow‐up on overdue accounts. Managing disputes, dunning activities, and all cash‐collection‐related tasks. Providing visibility, support, and follow‐up on disputed invoices. Ensuring adherence to credit policies and established procedures, and regularly engaging with customers to secure payments. Ensuring all business queries are resolved within agreed timeframes. Following up on requests or queries from customers or internal teams in a timely and professional manner. Assessing the impact of non‐payment on business operations and anticipating or escalating issues when necessary. Participating in and contributing to Collections projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Taking ownership of assigned targets and objectives, ensuring consistent performance and continuous improvement.What you will need to be successful: Undergraduate degree preferred, along with previous O2C experience or work in a finance environment. Business‐oriented mindset with understanding of Credit & Collections, Billing, Payment Allocation, and Sales & Operations processes. Strong command of verbal and written English and French. Excellent IT skills including Word/Excel. Good systems knowledge, preferably experience working with SAP. Ability to deliver work to strict guidelines and tight deadlines. High standard of communication skills, including the ability to choose the most effective communication channel and provide excellent customer service. Proactive, responsive, and action‐oriented approach to work. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team. Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills. Strong focus on quality and accuracy. Strong problem‐solving skills with the ability to analyse issues and identify solutions.
