We are looking for a
Business Controller
MAIN TASKS:
* Support the business lines and functions in understanding and managing the financial management of their activities.
* Participate in the closing process and bring a critical look to the figures reported.
* Understand how the result is constructed and how operations are translated into accounting in terms of multi-standards.
* Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of the budget: production of reports, participation in budget and forecast dashboards for the management and the financial department;
* Participate in tool evolution projects (Power BI, SSAS, Python, Tagetik, etc.) as well as in transformation projects.
* Carry out various studies and analyses on ad-hoc topics and themes at the request of management.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS
:
* Bachelor's degree in fields such as Management, Economics, Finance, accounting or related areas.
* An experience of minimum 3 years in a similar position.
* A prior experience in banking, insurance or a consulting firm may be an asset for the position.
* Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions). Knowledge of SAP, Access, Tagetik, VBA and BI tool is a plus
* You are rigorous, proactive on your work/projects and able to adapt to a rapidly changing and transforming environment.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken - C1)
* Hybrid role based in Porto.
