OverviewYou will be part of a new team in MN RAN R&D BB Unit responsible for developing assigned piece of SW to meet the expected Definition of Done for Cloud RAN applications. We are looking for a skilled Dev Ops engineer. You would be working with specifying, designing, implementation and testing software on Dev Ops (CI/CD/SCM).ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and maintain Dev Ops and CI/CD tools and infrastructureAutomate build, integration, testing, and release processesEnsure high availability, reliability, and security of CI/CD platforms and labsContinuously improve pipelines, architectures, tools, and development processesImplement and integrate software features based on product backlogs and specificationsDevelop and execute unit, integration, and system tests to ensure SW/HW qualityTroubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive quality improvementsCollaborate with global software development teams and contribute to internal improvement initiativesKey Skills And ExperienceYou have experience in SW development/ Testing on Dev Ops (CI/CD/SCM)You understand the significance of good SW practices for high quality SWYou have strong experience in C+/Java/Python: development and testingYou have strong experience with common CI/CD related tools, including Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Absolute, Docker, Kubernetes, Get Ops, etc.We also appreciate the following:Knowledge of the benefits of agile SW development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practicesExperience of scripting/coding with one or more languages (such as Python)Understanding of the cloud runtime environmentsUnderstanding of Telecommunication architecture and requirements (E.g., 5 G Radio Network)Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) cloud native characteristics including KubernetesKnowledge of open-source softwareKnowledge of platform services and real-time systemsAbout UsAdvancing connectivity to secure a brighter world.
