Overview
We are looking for a Project Manager to work under the project "Norte em Movimento – Rumo à Sustentabilidade Energética", financed by NORTE 2030, aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Regional Specialisation Platform for Sustainable Mobility and Energy Transition, enhancing the governance model of S3 NORTE 2027. Through coordination, capacity building, development of smart specialiSation value chains, and skills upgrading, it seeks to position the North as a European leader in innovation.
Job Duties
The job duties will be the following:
* Manage the overall implementation of the Norte em Movimento project, ensuring the achievement of objectives, milestones, and performance indicators;
* Monitor technical and financial progress and prepare progress and final reports;
* Ensure effective communication and coordination between all partners and the CCDR-N;
* Implement and oversee reporting mechanisms and monitoring dashboards;
* Coordinate the organisation of thematic workshops, discovery and innovation events, and stakeholder engagement activities;
* Identify operational and strategic risks and propose mitigation measures;
* Promote dissemination of project outcomes and best practices through events, publications, and digital channels.
MandatoryQualifications
Education
* PhD in Social Sciences, Communication or related fields.
Experienceand Technical Skills
* Experience in project management and implementation of funded (national or European) projects;
* Experience in organising events, workshops, or meetings, including logistical planning and stakeholder engagement;
* Good computer literacy and skills;
* Portuguese proficiency (written and verbal), since the project is developed in collaboration with multiple local stakeholders;
* English proficiency (written and verbal), as all documentation will be prepared in English and for participation in meetings with international partners.

* "Hands-on" approach together with a high commitment in respecting working deadlines;
* Problem Solving ability;

* Ability to work independently and as team player;
* Good communication skills.

How the Selection Process works
A. Applications eligibility check

The question based interview will evaluate the match between the candidate's profile and the requirements for the position, including the technical and personal skills. To better support this stage, the candidate may be requested to prepare a short presentation.
D. Nomination
The selected candidate will be nominated and formally offered the position, including the disclosure of the contractual conditions.
