Position SummaryReporting to the Country Manager in Portugal, the KAM has an overall responsibility for sales, market access, strategic development and operational management of all commercial activities in the assigned territory. Position Amicus as a leading Company in the rare diseases market, ensuring appropriate market positioning of the Amicus portfolio. Liaise with key opinion leaders, Hospital pharmacists and other relevant stakeholders, at Regional and Hospital level. Live Amicus values and comply with CompanyPolicies and Code of conduct. Roles and ResponsibilitiesFull accountability of the territory and key stakeholders management. Identify key regional stakeholders and shape the market. Build and develop professional long-term regional stakeholder's relationships. Appropriate customer targeting according to Company strategy. Prepare and execute Account Plans, aligned with the commercial strategy defined by the Company. Maximize sales & market share for the assigned products. Budget control and follow up. Management of market access activities, including negotiations with regional and Hospital key stakeholders. Work in close collaboration with other departments within Amicus to define the best strategy to implement in the field. Ensure high level and updated therapeutic and product knowledge. Comply with Company Policies and Country Code of Conduct. RequirementsEducational RequirementsScientific degree. High level of English/Spanish is desirable. Professional Work Experience RequirementsAt least five years' experience in Sales & Hospital Account Management. Demonstrable commercial success in Account management. Experience in rare diseases would be an advantage, but not essential. Knowledge of Health System and Health Care decision making. Experience in Health Economics and Market Access is desirable. Experience and SkillsCommunicate with impact and influence. Negotiation skills. Customer orientation. Science based and strategic approach management. Entrepreneurship and effective decision making.
