Join Our Digital Commerce Integration Team at Siemens!
We’re looking for an Integration Developer to join our IT Digital Commerce and Operations team. You’ll be part of developing integration solutions for the Siemens Xcelerator Marketplace, our innovative eCommerce platform connecting software and hardware solutions.
Working in an agile environment, you’ll collaborate with experienced developers on application integration projects, contribute to new feature development, and learn best practices in integration development including CICD pipeline processes. You’ll help build and maintain efficient system connections while ensuring optimal performance.
Your mission will be…
* Work collaboratively with scrum team members to accomplish team objectives through agile scrum methodologies.
* Work with Technical Product Owners and Scrum Masters to understand requirements; define and groom user stories; plan sprints; participate in scrum rituals; and deliver to commitments.
* Work with Solution Architects and Development subject‑matter experts to design, develop and deliver eCommerce interoperability with Salesforce B2BCommerce, order‑processing systems such as Zuora and SAP, payment providers, etc.
* Help build and develop web services using REST, SOAP and other APIs to support various integration points with other systems.
* Perform tasks with efficiency and speed with minimal reliance on other IT professionals.
* Learn, adopt, and help enrich development best practices.
We are looking for someone with…
* Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Engineering, IT, computer science, engineering, business administration, (or lower qualification with relevant work experience).
* 3 to 5 years of professional experience as an integration developer.
* Server‑side JavaScript development experience (e.g., Nest.js, Node.js).
* Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript concepts.
* Experience developing REST APIs and integrating into existing REST APIs.
* Knowledge of backend coding skills.
* Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
* Excellent backend coding skills.
* Industry knowledge of eCommerce in a B2B context.
* Knowledge of agile methodologies.
* Proficient in English.
Desired Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience:
* Salesforce.com System Administrator and/or Developer Certification.
* Experience integrating with cloud providers like AWS and Azure.
* Understanding of business data management and modelling.
* Previous experience with Salesforce B2BCommerce.
* Previous experience working in a software development environment.
