About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, a proven ability to onboard new clients, and a knack for sharing insights and strategies with the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive Sales Growth: Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing for independent hotels and small chains. Identify and engage key decision-makers in the hotel industry. Deliver engaging demos and present tailored solutions to clients. Overcome objections and close deals effectively. Transition closed deals seamlessly to the onboarding team.
2. Market Expertise: Maintain up-to-date resources for the UK & IRL markets, including forecasts, competitive intelligence, and a robust database of prospects. Proactively share market insights and learnings with the team. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity.
3. Relationship Building: Establish a strong personal network in the hospitality industry. Represent the company at key events like ITB Berlin, networking with potential clients and partners.
4. Team Support and Strategy: Support new team members by sharing knowledge and best practices. Contribute to refining outbound sales strategies tailored to the DACH market.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience: At least 4 years of professional experience, with 1-2 years in hotel tech SaaS B2B sales. Proven success in selling to hotels and managing a full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
* Skills: Strong outbound sales expertise with the ability to independently generate and close opportunities. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. High energy, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment.
* Market Knowledge: Excellent understanding of the DACH hotel industry. Fluent in German (mandatory) and English (mandatory). Additional languages are a plus.
