This opportunity for an Engineer | Aircraft Design (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Aeronautics team.
Responsibilities:
1. Adhere to product configuration rules.
2. Contribute to the creation of project reports and certification documentation.
3. Design for manufacturing of 3D CAD models (composite or metallic materials).
4. Develop CAD models supporting testing and certification activities.
5. Ensure compliance with project requirements and quality processes.
6. Evaluate inputs to select appropriate materials, treatments, and production techniques.
7. Generate Bill of Materials for production and logistics.
8. Identify issues and propose improvements to meet requirements and resolve problems.
9. Assist the manager with planning, tracking, and reporting technical activities, including activity planning and project status updates.
10. Apply lean principles to reduce costs through process improvements and optimized design solutions.
Qualifications:
* Academic background in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics, or related fields.
* Experience with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks) and MS Office tools.
* Proven experience in component/product development.
* Knowledge of materials and production techniques.
* Understanding of structural sizing analysis techniques.
* Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork in demanding projects, with analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
