Job Description:
IQVIA is seeking a Global Trial Vendor Manager to join our Single Sponsor Department, dedicated exclusively to Novartis. In this role, you will oversee vendor management for global clinical trials across all phases (Phase I–IV), from study start-up through to close-out.
We are looking for candidates with strong experience in vendor oversight, ideally with a background in managing trials on a global or regional scale.
Key accountabilities
* Provide vendor oversight and management at the trial level to ensure all vendors deliverables are completed timely & with good quality
* Oversee all vendor activities after study start-up and all categories not covered by VSEs
* Drive and monitor vendor activities for site activations
* Manage and document vendor performance issues and risks, escalating as needed
* Coordinate vendor study deliverables supporting DBL and study close-out
* Ensure vendor service excellence at the study level
* Maintain vendor KPI and KQI dashboards at the study level
* Monitor site readiness
* Develop risk maps with contingency plans
* Control ESP costs
* Manage site readiness documentation
* Maintain a robust understanding of all service categories and their deliverables throughout the study lifecycle
* Possess extensive knowledge of clinical operations processes
* Partner effectively with other functions
* Exhibit strong communication and influencing skills
