Installation Technician for Gas Insulated Switchgear
We are seeking an experienced Installation Technician to join our Grid Technologies division in Portugal. This role will involve working on customer sites to install GIS – Gas Insulated Switchgear, with a focus on technical responsibility for assigned assembly teams and ensuring compliance with installation procedures.
About the Role
* Technical responsibility for an assigned assembly team, ensuring technically perfect, timely, and cost-effective installation of gas insulated high voltage feeders and related control cubicles.
* Responsible for EHS compliance, planning and processing site logistics, and schedule tracking based on existing supervision time schedules.
* Clarification of technical problems during erection, quality assurance, non-conformity reporting, and advising/instructing erection personnel.
What You Bring
* Bachelor's degree or Diploma or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, Energy technology, or comparable education/qualification.
* Proficient English language skills; additional language skills are a plus.
* Availability for international travel, approximately 90% of the time (willingness and ability for frequent business trips and mainly long-term assignments on construction sites in Europe).
