With 30 offices across 14 countries, Fortil fosters entrepreneurial freedom and the empowerment of individual potential.Your ResponsabilitiesAs a C++ Developer, you will be part of our R&D team, contributing to the development and maintenance of advanced software solutions for smart grids, SCADA systems, and embedded systems.Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using modern C++Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, QA, UI/UX) to define and deliver robust software architectures.Contribute to the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, and deployment.Develop and optimize algorithms for real-time systems, communication protocols, and industrial automation.Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.Support integration with existing systems and ensure interoperability with industrial standardsParticipate in continuous improvement and R&D innovation initiatives.Your ProfileDegree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or similar+ 2 years of professional experience in C++ developmentSolid knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architectureExperience with development for Linux or real-time embedded environments is a strong plusFamiliarity with version control tools (e.g. Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologiesGood communication skills in English (B2 or higher)Must be in Porto or Lisbon (hybrid)Soft skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsTeam spirit, proactivity, and critical thinkingWhy Join Us?
