About the Role
As a
Software Testing & Support Engineer
, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications through rigorous testing and providing technical support to internal and external users. This role combines analytical skills, attention to detail, and customer service orientation to maintain high standards of performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, execute, and document test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Provide technical support to internal teams and clients.
Maintain detailed records of test results and support activities.
Contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies and tools.
Participate in release processes ensuring quality standards are met.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience in software testing (manual and/or automated) and technical support.
Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Familiarity with programming languages and databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
Knowledge of ITIL or similar support frameworks.
Knowledge of Jira.
