Overview
Junior Civil Engineer
As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting senior engineers in the development, design, and construction of various civil engineering projects in Faro. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Responsibilities
* Assist senior engineers in planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects
* Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project feasibility
* Prepare technical drawings, plans, and reports using AutoCAD and other software
* Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
* Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure project success
* Conduct quality control checks on materials and workmanship
* Perform calculations for structural design using engineering principles
* Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, or labor required for projects
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* Proven experience with AutoCAD or other design software
* Knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards
* Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
Salary: 1700$ per month
