Job Opportunity
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a highly skilled practitioner psychologist to work closely with the team to ensure quality of care for all service users.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a system of governance to ensure quality of care and good training experience
* Provide supervision and training to core trainees in at least two psychotherapy modalities
* Work closely with the Medical Director, psychotherapy tutor and college tutor to co-ordinate and form the Mental Health & Learning Disabilities (MH&LD) psychiatry training committee
Requirements
* Doctorate in clinical or counselling psychology, accredited by British Psychological Society
* Registration as Practitioner Psychologist with Health Care Professions Council
* Accreditation in at least one recognised psychotherapy modality
* High level knowledge of the theory and practice of at least two specialised psychological therapies
Desirable Skills
* Welsh language speaking/listening skills at Level 3 or above
* Experience working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity across the full range of care settings
