Key Account Manager - Plastic Injection

Experis is currently recruiting a Key Account Manager, aimed at an ambitious professional with consolidated experience in the tooling and plastic injection molding industry and strong strategic leadership skills. This role is designed for a highly demanding profile, capable of ensuring an experience of excellence for the client, reflecting the highest standards of quality, detail, and technical sophistication. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing high-level relationships with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, ensuring elite commercial performance and fostering an innovative environment focused on high-value results (€5M - €10M+).
Responsibilities:
• Lead and expand strategic relationships with major players in the automotive and industrial sectors (OEMs and Tier 1s).
• Manage complex sales cycles, from technical prospecting to the negotiation and closing of high-precision tooling projects.
• Ensure a differentiating technical consultancy, guaranteeing that delivered projects reflect the organization’s superior quality standards.
• Monitor market trends and performance KPIs, implementing account plans aligned with global technological roadmaps.
• Act as the vital link between the client and engineering teams, elevating the level of customization and satisfaction for every project.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Key Account Management within the tooling/injection molding industry.
• Strong results orientation and a proven track record in managing large-scale annual budgets.
• High-level communication skills and the ability to influence international stakeholders.
• Fluency in English (mandatory); proficiency in German and Portuguese is highly valued.
• Solid technical knowledge of precision tools and complex industrial requirements.
• Full mobility for international travel (40%+ of the time) to provide direct client support.
