Your mission, roles and responsibilities Mission Summary The Toolmaker / Process Development Technician is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and fine‐tuning welding and assembly tooling. They contribute to bringing manufacturing processes into production by ensuring tooling reliability, product quality, and operational efficiency. Main Missions Set up, adjust, and operate tooling and equipment (welding tools and assembly) including basic pneumatic and electrical modifications (sensors, cylinder, ...). Compare inspection results (dimensional & macrographic) with product drawings to identify deviations and implement necessary adjustments on tooling (clamps, part positioning, ...). Participate in tooling design to provide practical feedback (robustness and feasibility). Implement corrective actions to ensure tooling & equipment performance (sensors, poka‐yoke systems, cylinders, etc.). Use in‐house machining resources when authorized to adapt or repair tooling. Main Responsibilities Tooling and Equipment Management Set up, adjust, and validate equipment and tools up to final acceptance. Support and advise suppliers during equipment and tooling start‐up phases. Process Development Define process solutions and ensure proper application. Apply strong mechanical and maintenance expertise. Support team in maintenance, quality issues, and efficiency improvements. Your profile and competencies to succeed Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a technician in an industrial environment (preferred). Experience in tooling commissioning, tuning and maintenance. Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work in multicultural environments. Ability to communicate verbally in English at a practical working level (full fluency not required). Ability to work in a shop‐floor and automotive manufacturing environment. Ready to travel across Europe as required by projects (approximately 30% to 60% of the time).
