Syone is currently looking for a Data Architect to join our team in Lisbon for an exciting project in the banking sector.What you would do:Define and designcloud architecture solutionsaligned with business objectives, security, and regulatory requirements.Support cloud initiatives bymonitoring SaaS solutions, assessing risks, and contributing to migration roadmaps .Developarchitectural blueprints, design patterns, and reference frameworks(e.g., CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code) for development teams.Advise technical teams oncloud-native architecture, API strategy, DevOps practices, data analytics, and AI/ML integration, using tools such asDocker ,Kubernetes ,Terraform, andAnsible .Define and enforcecloud governance practices, including security standards, compliance, and cost management.Stay up to date withcloud technologies, industry trends, and fintech innovations .Evaluatenew technologies and proofs of conceptwith internal teams and external partners.Troubleshootcomplex technical issuesand support cloud migration initiatives.Communicateprogress, risks, and recommendationsto IT and business stakeholders.Contribute to theorganization's cloud strategyand support mentoring, knowledge sharing, and team development.What you need to bring:Development and Solution Architectures (OOP, OOAD, Data, Middleware, Scalability, Resiliency) - Demonstrated experience in software and systems implementation & design and overall distributed systems architecture.Cloud platforms (one or more of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud) - Minimum 5 years designing, migrating and operating production workloads.Container orchestration & IaC (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform, Ansible) - Hands‐on implementation and architecture.Secure Development Lifecycle (SCA, SAST, DAST, CSPM) - Experience embedding security tools in CI/CD pipelines.Cloud Design Patterns & reference architectures - Ability to document and reuse patterns across projects.Governance & compliance (e.g. GDPR) - Demonstrated application in previous roles.Strong communication & stakeholder management - Written & verbal fluency for both technical teams and senior management.Good Level of English.Nice-to-Have Technical Skills:Knowledge of IBM Cloud services (IBM Cloud Pak, Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud)Relevant certifications (AWS Solution Architect‐Professional, Azure Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, TOGAF, etc.) or demonstration of equivalent experience.Knowledge on OpenStack cloud operating systemExposure to the financial services industry (banking, payments, fintech, capital markets)Awareness around Data ScienceBy applying, you accept our GDPR policies.
