Structure Engineer Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Structure Engineer to join our Architecture department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in structural analysis, design, and project management.
This role is responsible for performing structural analysis of solutions for evaluation and optimization during the design process. You will develop proprietary structural models, calculations, reports, and specifications. Additionally, you will manage and control structural design processes carried out by external consultants, in coordination with other disciplines.
The successful candidate will have a civil engineering background specializing in structures (or equivalent qualification), minimum 15 years' experience in single building projects, practical knowledge of industry-standard software for structural design, and good practical knowledge of national and international technical design codes.
Responsibilities:
* Perform structural analysis of solutions for evaluation and optimization during the design process.
* Develop proprietary structural models, calculations, reports, and specifications.
* Manage and control structural design processes carried out by external consultants, in coordination with other disciplines.
* Support the development of plans and BIM models.
* Work independently within procedures and practices established in the field of structures.
* Cordinate and lead design teams focused on engineering design in the field of structures.
* Ensure compliance with project objectives, milestones, and technical budgets.
* Prepare complex project deliverables using a team of technical and support staff, supervising and guiding less experienced staff.
Requirements:
* Civil engineer specializing in structures (or equivalent qualification).
* Minimum 15 years' experience in single building projects.
* Practical knowledge of industry-standard software for structural design.
* Good practical knowledge of national and international technical design codes.
* Planning, organization, and time management skills.
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Experience in project management.

* Fluency in Spanish and English (recent B2).
