Overview:We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and evolve the backend and platform services that power an AI-driven automotive platform.This role focuses on backend-heavy, cloud-native development, with exposure to AI-enabled systems, APIs, and data flows.
You will work across multiple services and languages, collaborating closely with AI/ML, Android, QA, DevOps, and Product teams.While primarily backend-focused, the role requires full-stack awareness and a strong systems mindset.What will you do?
Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting AI-driven featuresWork with cloud-based architectures and distributed systemsImplement reliable, scalable, and secure data and service integrationsCollaborate with AI/ML teams to support model integration and inference workflowsWork with relational databases and SQL for data persistence and analytics needsParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture alignmentContribute to observability, performance tuning, and operational stabilitySupport CI/CD, testing, and deployment processes in collaboration with DevOpsWhat are we looking for?
5+ years of professional software development experienceStrong backend development experience in one or more languages: Python, C#, KotlinSolid experience with SQL and relational databasesExperience building APIs and backend services in production environmentsGood understanding of distributed systems and service-based architecturesFull-stack awareness with a clear backend emphasisCuriosity and interest in AI / ML concepts and systemsExperience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)Experience working in AI-enabled or data-intensive systemsFamiliarity with event-driven architectures or messaging systemsExposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesExperience in automotive, embedded, or platform environmentsWhat can you expect from us?
