$60,000 - $72,000 USD annually | Full-time | 100% Remote
As Head of Client Strategy, you'll operate as the CEO of 12 client accounts owning their LinkedIn strategy, leading the delivery teams, and driving predictable pipeline generation for our clients resulting in 10+ qualified ICP appointments per client, per month.
This role is ideal for you if you've already been the strategic owner of multiple B2B clients and want to step into a true leadership role.
We're a fast-growing LinkedIn marketing agency that specializes in B2B pipeline generation for sales and business development consultants.
We are not a high volume, 'churn and burn' agency.

About the role
As Head of Client Strategy, you are the strategic owner and primary relationship lead for 12 high-value client accounts.
You act as the \"CEO of the client account\", responsible for their growth strategy, internal team coordination, and commercial outcomes.
Core Mission:
Deliver 10+ qualified appointments per client per month while retaining clients long-term and maximizing their lifetime value.
This role reports directly to the CEO and is a clear pathway to becoming Chief Operating Officer of the agency.
What Success Looks Like:
Month 3:You've taken full ownership of your 12 accounts, built trust with clients, aligned internal teams, and are consistently hitting appointment targets.
Month 6:You're proactively identifying growth opportunities, optimizing underperforming accounts, and your clients view you as an indispensable strategic partner.
Month 12:You're mentoring junior strategists, contributing to agency-wide systems and processes, and on track for promotion to COO.
What you'll actually do
Daily:
15-minute team standup coordinating Content Creator, Account Manager, and Appointment Setter.
Monitor LinkedIn outreach performance and appointment bookings.
Client communications and quick-turn problem solving.
Review and approve content before publishing.
Weekly:
Performance reviews: analyze data, identify trends, adjust strategy
Pipeline analysis to ensure 10+ appointments/client/month trajectory.
Create lead-gen strategies for clients falling short of the target.
Monthly:
Deep-dive strategy sessions with each client presenting insights and roadmap
Monthly team member 1-on-1s for coaching and development
Process improvement to systemize winning behaviors/systems.
Reasons why this job is for you
You have 4-8+ years of relevant experience in client-facing strategy, account management, and direct response copywriting, specifically in a LinkedIn + B2B context.
You've worked in an agency / solopreneur environment and understand the pace, complexity, and client dynamics that come with it.
You bring a strategic mindset, but still enjoy jumping into the details, whether it's reviewing performance campaigns, optimizing outreach sequences, or improving content quality.
You take full ownership of your projects, leading the brief, aligning with clients, and pushing for better outcomes through team collaboration.
You're confident owning and leading client relationships, from onboarding and strategy to reviews and roadmap planning.
You're a systems thinker, you instinctively turn repeatable tasks into documented processes that free up mental capacity for higher-level problem solving.
You communicate clearly and proactively, whether with teammates or clients.
You keep things sharp, structured, and on point.
You bring a growth mindset: open to feedback, focused on learning, and always looking for ways to improve and support others in doing the same.
You demonstrate excellence in everything you do—from how you communicate to how you organize your work to how you show up for your team.

Your Responsibilities
1. Client Strategy Ownership
Own the end-to-end growth strategy for each client, aligning marketing, content, and outreach with their revenue goals
Translate business objectives into clear monthly execution plans across content and appointment setting
Act as the strategic advisor—proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and optimization levers
Lead monthly strategy reviews with clients, presenting insights, results, and next-step recommendations
Set, manage, and deliver on expectations at every stage of the engagement
2. Content Strategy Oversight
Oversee execution of each client's monthly content plan by the content creator:
2-3 giveaways per month (planning, coordination, promotion)
2 posts and 1 newsletter per week
Review and optimize content using internal best practices and quality checklists
Manage content pipeline from ideation to publishing, ensuring timely delivery
Conduct monthly content performance reviews and extract actionable insights
3. Appointment Setting Leadership
Partner with the Appointment Setter to:
Set up accounts and lead lists on Sales Navigator
Load sequences into LinkedIn outreach automation tools
Implement client and strategist feedback promptly
Proactively monitor outreach performance and flag/fix issues before they impact results
Ensure the success metric of 10+ appointments per client per month is achieved consistently
4. Team Coordination & Accountability
Assign, prioritize, and manage workloads across 5 team members:
Content Creator
Account Manager
Appointment Setter
Monitor daily and weekly KPIs across content, outreach, and appointments
Lead daily internal team huddles and weekly client performance reviews
Ensure accountability, clarity, and execution excellence across all moving parts
