Job Description
The candidate will join the Fraunhofer Portugal AWAM team in Vila Real and engage in research activities within the scope of the project "Vine&WinePT – Vine & Wine Portugal - Driving sustainable growth through smart innovation, with reference Nº 67 Agendas para Inovação Empresarial”.
Your role
The candidate will supervise and support activities related to business model development, dissemination of project outcomes, and design of follow-up projects and investments.
Your profile
* Mandatory Requirements:
o Academic Qualifications: PhD degree in Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar, and Habilitation ("agregação"). Evidence of academic leadership: major projects, Q1 publications, patents or spin-offs, academic supervision.
o Professional Experience: Extended track record of experience in project management in areas relevant to the project. Extended relevant work experience in research departments in industry, applied research institutions, or universities.
* Other Skills:
o Excellent English communication skills (technical and general audiences).
o Capacity to translate research findings into actionable insights for real-world applications.
o Capacity to engage and manage different stakeholders.

The selected candidate is expected to start working November 1st, 2025.

Selection process
Admitted candidates will be subject to a curricular evaluation. Based on the results, the top‑ranked candidates will be invited for an interview. All applicants will be notified of the results of the call via the email address provided in their application.
