About The Role
We are seeking a Business Development Assistant/Officer to support our team of economists in our growing business. This role will involve searching for new business opportunities, supporting the development and submission of proposals, and maintaining internal databases.
* Identify new business opportunities through procurement websites
* Support the development and submission of proposals
* Maintain internal databases and records
Responsibilities
1. Search for and contact potential technical experts and suppliers
2. Prepare vendor contracts and work orders for external suppliers
3. Maintain and update internal database of consultants
4. Maintain and update database of external technical experts and subcontractors
5. Create and maintain BD resources such as project descriptions and past performance references
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business, Finance or similar field, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work under tight deadlines is also required.
