We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee our payroll operations in Portugal. This is a hands-on and strategic role responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of payroll.
* Manage end-to-end payroll operations for employees in Portugal, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
* Supervise and mentor the Payroll team, reviewing their work and providing guidance.
* Liaise with external payroll providers and ensure payroll data is correctly prepared and submitted.
Key Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess 5+ years of payroll experience in Portugal, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
* Strong knowledge of Portuguese employment law, tax, and social security requirements.
* Experience dealing with payroll for large-scale employee bases in Portugal.
* Have a great understanding of labor regulations in Portugal on matters that impact payroll.
