* Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow, manage banking relationships, and ensure optimal capital and liquidity management.
* Audit & Statutory Oversight: Manage the annual audit process, liaise with auditors, and perform the final review and sign-off of statutory submissions (VAT, Income Tax, and Provisional Tax).
* Revenue Operations Oversight: Provide high-level financial oversight across all revenue-generating streams — including properties, co-working spaces, and events — ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
* Compliance & Legal Governance: Oversee legal and compliance frameworks in collaboration with the Compliance Coordinator, ensuring all contracts, leases, and corporate documentation are accurate and compliant.
* Property Finance Management: Supervise the financial administration of the property portfolio, including maintenance cost tracking, tenant billing accuracy, and deposit management.
* Policy & Risk Management: Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial, HR, and operational policies to ensure best practices and mitigate risk.
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support the Finance Lead, Revenue Coordinator, and Compliance Coordinator, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
* Operational Support: Step in to provide hands-on support during critical periods — including payment runs, reconciliations, and financial reporting cycles.

* 5–7 years' experience in a senior finance management role, overseeing multi-functional teams and diverse operations.
* Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, tax, HR, and audit regulations within the South African context.
* Experience using QuickBooks and HR systems; property finance experience is critical.
* Proven strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to integrate financial insight into operational and business decisions.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and inspire a small, high-performing team.
* Exceptional organisational ability, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
