is looking for a
Compliance Specialist
(m/f) to join a leading multinational in the port and logistics sector, based in
Lisbon
, with 3 to 5 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction and executive leadership for the Companyscomplianceand internal audit programs, including the development, design, and execution of the annualcomplianceplan;
Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and impactful presentations to the executive leadership team;
Advise management in identifying, assessing, and mitigatingcompliancerisks across operational areas, offering practical and well-informed solutions;
Monitor, evaluate, and enhance policies and procedures, subject to the approval of the GroupComplianceDepartment;
Coordinate preparations for annual internal and external audits;
Manage whistleblower research processes and ensure timely reporting of preliminary investigations to GroupCompliance;
Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Internal Audit, Legal, Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, Procurement, and Marketing to align and channelcomplianceefforts appropriately;
Conduct and document risk-based due diligence on all third parties prior to engagement with the company;
Oversee the delivery ofcompliancetraining programs, ensuring all employeesparticularly new hirescomplete required training such as the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery modules;
Engage with senior management to stay aligned with corporate strategy and objectives, while building and maintaining key internal and external relationships.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelors degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field;
Minimum of 35 years of experience incompliance, internal audit, legal, or risk management roles, preferably within a multinational or regulated environment;
In-depth knowledge of corporatecompliancestandards, international anti-bribery laws, and regulatory frameworks;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical approach to risk mitigation;
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with executive leadership and cross-functional teams;
Proven ability to design and implement effectivecompliancetraining and awareness programs;
Experience in managing investigations and conducting due diligence, particularly related to third-party risk;
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
