Context
You will join a global team responsible for the
implementation and evolution of a unified
internet platform (reporting and transactional) serving BNP Paribas Securities Services clients
worldwide.
This client-facing portal enables customers to
manage and monitor all operations related to their financial securities
portfolio. The department operates as an Agile
Tribe, structured into multiple squads, following Scrum / SAFe methodologies,
ensuring continuous functional and technical improvements.
Mission
As a Senior
IT Business Analyst, you will be part of one of the Agile
squads, working closely with the Product
Owner, architects, and development teams to ensure business
needs are accurately translated into high-quality functional specifications and
delivered efficiently.
You will work from Lisbon in a hybrid model,
collaborating daily with a multicultural,
multi-country global team.
Key Responsibilities
·
Gather, analyze, prioritize, and clarify
business requirements, anticipating risks and assessing impacts
·
Translate business needs into clear, structured
requirements within the product backlog, enabling short and iterative
development cycles
·
Define solutions in collaboration with squad and
tribe architects
·
Write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria,
ensuring alignment between business and technical teams
·
Validate user stories during development and
contribute to increasing test
automation coverage
·
Perform non-regression
testing prior to production releases
·
Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
with end users
·
Create, maintain, and update documentation
tailored to different audiences (Development, Product, Support)
·
Deliver training sessions when required
Required Technical Skills
·
Minimum 5+
years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile software development environments
·
Strong experience translating business
requirements into user stories, use
cases, and technical specifications
·
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC),
including estimation, planning, requirements management, quality assurance, and
release management
·
Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases
·
Strong ability to analyze data and understand
data relationships across business domains
·
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering,
Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
