In this role, you will be part of our maintenance organization, coordinating and overseeing all departmental activities to ensure the timely and high‐quality execution of maintenance operations. Working within established technical and administrative frameworks, you will contribute to ensuring equipment reliability, supporting production performance, and driving continuous improvement across our processes.Your activitiesDesign and approve preventive maintenance plans, ensuring equipment reliability and long‐term performance.Oversee and support corrective maintenance activities, driving effective solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate closely with the Production and other teams to analyze root causes, eliminate recurring issues, and implement sustainable technical solutions.Drive continuous improvement actions across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical processes to boost efficiency and quality.Perform functional analysis of machines and devices during approval phases, ensuring readiness and technical compliance.Coordinate with the maintenance purchasing group and warehouse to ensure spare‐parts availability and optimize stock management.Prepare and follow up on weekly and monthly maintenance reports, ensuring transparency and data‐driven decisions.Guarantee compliance with HSE and Quality standards, promoting a safe, efficient, and high‐quality working environment.What You Need To Be Successful In This RoleBSc/MSc in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (other Engineering fields might be considered).Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.Good knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical industrial maintenance.Good command of English.SAP PM/MM preferred, Excel and Autocad/Solidworks mandatory.Experience in cost control and warehouse management.Excellent interpersonal skills, such as communication and negotiation, team working and proactivity.Analytical thinking, methodical ways of working and motivation to join a fast‐pace and demanding working environment.We offer You will be a part of a highly motivated and skillful team who will onboard and support your journey at Valmet; together you will move our customers' performance forward and make a difference in our company, contributing to the positive development of our product and business.
