Job Overview
This is a challenging opportunity to lead and manage the administration of Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of database operations, including installations, upgrades, migrations, encryption, configuration, replication, and backups.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administration: oversee the day-to-day management of Oracle databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.
* Access management: design and implement access control systems to safeguard sensitive data.
* Troubleshooting and optimization: identify and resolve technical issues, optimizing database performance for improved efficiency.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* More than 3 years of experience in Oracle database administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
* Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c Administrator Certified Professional certification.
* Experience with RAC and Grid Infrastructure.
* Legal requirements to work and live in Portugal.
* Proficiency in English (at least B2 level).
* Availability to travel for other locations when required.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid regime position, based in Almada. Portuguese language skills are also mandatory.
